Dear Prospective Parent:

Welcome to St. Athanasius School. St. Athanasius is a kindergarten through eighth grade elementary school located in the northeast corner of Evanston, Illinois. St. A’s, as we are affectionately known in the community, is a Catholic school offering a faith-based, academically challenging curriculum. We value the uniqueness of each student. Through our strong academics and variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, we are committed to developing the whole child. Our mission is to help our young people grow spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.

We encourage our students to be well rounded by offering a wide range of learning opportunities: from participation in academic competitions, an honors humanities program, drama, chess club, and art, voice and piano lessons; to our no-cut athletic programs including volleyball, football, basketball and track. St. A’s graduates consistently perform well at the excellent Catholic and public high schools in the area and continue to be successful at prestigious universities all over the country.
