St. A's Redhawks Team Sports
At St. A’s, sports are a fun and integral part of our students’ growth, spirit and camaraderie. Our Athletics Program develops individual character, leadership and good sportsmanship. Our school competes in the Council II-3A Catholic League of the North Shore. We also utilize programs connected to the Evanston Recreation Department.
Cheerleading, Boys Tackle Football, Boys and Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball, Track and Field, and Cross Country are all within the Council II-3A League. We also participate in the Evanston Recreation League for Co-Ed Flag Football and Basketball. Go Redhawks!
Council ll-3A is comprised of: St. Athanasius (Evanston), Academy at St. Joan of Arc (Evanston) Pope John XXIII (Evanston), St. Francis Xavier (Wilmette), Sacred Heart (Winnetka), Sts. Faith Hope & Charity (Winnetka), St. Mary (Lake Forest), St. Catherine Laboure (Glenview), Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Glenview) and St. Norbert (Northbrook).

Athletics Registration
Before a student can participate, he/she must have written parental permission, proof of medical insurance and a current physical examination. Participants must meet academic eligibility standards; a parent or guardian must also attend the athletic director’s meeting at the beginning of each season. Athletic fees vary.
