Alumni News: Honore Collins '12 Gets NCAA Record

Members of New York University men's and women's swim teams competed in the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships in Greensboro, NC, from Wednesday-Saturday, March 20-23.
For the women, on the first day of the three-day event, Honore Collins (St. Athanasius class of 2012) set an NCAA record and earned All-America honors with her first-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (with a time of 1:58.18).
As a freshman, Collins became NYU's first-ever swimming national champion after winning the 200-yard IM (then-school-record 2:00.97) at the NCAA's.
