What is the Parent School Organization?

The Parent School Organization (PSO) promotes parental support of school programs; bridges communication between the school and parents; welcomes; and promotes a vibrant sense of community. There are a variety of roles and opportunities within the PSO. Meetings take place monthly. All school parents are members of the PSO and are welcome to attend meetings, and encouraged to volunteer for activities that lift the school.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
Below there are 3 sign-up geniuses, with opportunities to volunteer

Crossing Guard
Not sure if you have noticed but the city of Evanston stopped paying for a crossing guard at Ashland and Lincoln.  We are looking for parents to help fill this void.   Please report to Judy and collect your stop sign and vest before your shift.

Recess Duty
As you all know, we have the best teachers around and they really deserve a break at lunchtime.  Please help the teachers by signing up for recess duty.  This is also a great time to see your child interact with their classmates and spend time with them.

Stocking the teacher's lounge
Every month there will be a specific class in charge of stocking the teacher lounge.  This month is 4th grade but in case you forgot to sign up - here is the link:
